Gabriella should have entered into this world July 8th.
Dan and I will be married one year on the 26th!
The last year of our lives has been rough and amazing.
We are starting the road to adoption. After losing Gabriella and having another miscarriage we have decided that this is the road that life is taking us on.
We are going to continue to pray that God blesses us with lots of little blessings of our own. But we are hoping to adopt with in a year through foster care. We would do private adoption but the expense is something we can not do at this point. Not to mention that I feel so many people in private adoption seem to be trying to sell there babies to the highest bidder.
We are starting classes this month and hoping to get through the process and have a placement by December. Ideally we are hoping for a sibling group of 2 (I would take more but we don't have the space) under the age of 4. Preferably like 2 and infant.
Please come along side us and pray that by this time next year we are blessed with children (both through me and through foster care)

I'm Katybeth. I have an amazing husband, we got married the summer of 08. We strive daily to strengthen our walk with God. We don't have any kids yet, we recently lost our little girl Gabriella Grace at 18 weeks into a tough pregnancy.

Yea!! I am so happy for you guys! I think the miracle of adoption is one of the greatest blessings there is, both for the child and the parents!
Adoptive parents are often told how "lucky" the adopted child is to ahve been "saved" or "rescued" by them, but it's the other way around. The adoptive parent is by far the more blessed part of the equation!
Even with Austin we are often told how "lucky" he is to have us. No, I tell them, it is us who are lucky. He has made our lives so much fuller, I couldn't imagine not having him here.
We will be praying with you as you start this incredible journey. And pray your lives will be as blessed as those whom you bring into your loving home!
